Killer Club follows Henry Golding as an elite assassin trying to do one last job
Crazy Rich Asians and Snake Eyes star Henry Golding does his best impression in the latest trailer for the upcoming action movie, killer club. Released with permission from Paramount Pictures, killer club finds Golding leading the way as a killer (which should be obvious) who takes over the classic tale of getting one last job. It is a function that deviates from its course. Check out the newly released trailer for Assassin's club below
Directed by fuel tanker and brick mansions director Camille Delamarre, killer Club follows Henry Golding's Hunter, who quickly becomes hunted when he is given an elite assassin his final contract: to kill seven people around the world — only to discover the targets of equally skilled assassins hired to kill him. His only shot at survival is to uncover the mysterious mastermind behind the murderous plot before it's too late
Described as a "highly entertaining, world-trotting action movie," killer club features an all-star cast of very familiar names including Daniela Melchior (Suicide Squad), Noomi Rapace (Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan), and Sam Neill (Jurassic Park)
Killer club is scheduled to be released via digital on May 16
The killer club certainly looks like a possible warm-up for Golding the next day, as he was the favorite actor to take over as James Bond from Daniel Craig after the release of 2021's no time to die. Golding has been a favorite for the role for some time, and while he may have slipped a bit in the rankings recently, with the likes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Henry Cavill, James Norton, Reg Yut-Jan page, and London gangster star Papa isido taking the top spots, Golding has expressed interest in joining the iconic action franchise
"No. I think there were a few guys who had it. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them, but I know for a fact that the gears are shifting for Barbara [Broccoli] so I wish them the best," Goulding said in January. "I think they will choose the most suitable Association. I like to be in the bond world, not bond specifically, but let's play in that sandpit. I'll play a weirdo, it doesn't matter. What do I carry? Oh, my god. I will bring a sense, I will bring a sense of mystery, a sense of magic and a beautiful appearance
Along with killer club, Golding has a few other action films in the pipeline. He will join James Bond's favorite colleague Henry Cavill in the unkind Ministry of war, which will tell the seemingly true story of a Secret World War II combat organization founded by Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming, whose unkind war of fighters against the Nazis changed the course of the war
He will also join the fray in the upcoming Netflix sequel, The Old Guard 2. Directed by Victoria Mahoney from a screenplay by Greg Rucka and based on his comic book of the same name, Goulding will join Charlize Theron, Kiki lane, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Matthias Schoenaerts, and at Ocean Veronica ng
